We’ve added a new review to our blackjack movies overview section today. Our latest movie review covers the card counting documentary The Hot Shoe by David Layton. Though Layton doesn’t really stray very far from the surface, so that the documentary remains accessible to people who don’t know the first thing about card counting, it’s still a good documentary. He interviews a number of card counters, MIT members, casino executives, a Griffin Investigations detective, and a specialized lawyer, and weaves them together to form a story on the history and legal aspects of card counting.
