Moto Development Group demonstrated its new interactive Blackjack table at the Global Gaming Expo earlier this month. The top of this round blackjack table is a large multitouch screen, and can be used from Blackjack and Texas Hold ‘Em Poker. The dealer can deal cards by sliding them across the table with a hand gesture, and by sliding a cupped hand over the cards a player can view them while shielding his hand from another player’s glances. The betting chips are also digital, and a player places bets by dragging them into the appropriate area on the table top.
It is not clear whether any casino will adopt these tables, since they appear to require quite a lot of customization, but they are a nifty piece of technology nonetheless.
