Movie review: Croupier

Croupier

There’s a new movie review up in our Blackjack Movies section. This time we’ve taken a look at the 1998 movie Croupier, a film noir-ish crime movie directed by Mike Hodges. This movie is about a down-at-heel writer who takes up a job as a croupier in a seedy London casino. Despite being cool and seeming in control, Jack Manfred soon becomes darkly fascinated with the workings of the casino, and explores the beyond the limits of the house rules in search of a good plot for his next novel.
