Today we’ve added a new page on our Blackjack Professionals Page. Our newest addition is a page on Stanford Wong, whose book Basic Blackjack we reviewed earlier. Wong was born John Ferguson in 1943, but took on his current pseudonym when he found the nickname Nevada Smith already taken. He rapidly gained fame in the mid-70s and published his most famous book, Professional Blackjack, in 1975. Though he no longer plays blackjack today he owns a publishing company, maintains a blackjack site, and publishes a US-oriented blackjack newsletter.
