This week we’ve added a new page to our blackjack professionals page, this time on pro player Don Schlesinger. Schleschinger has been counting cards since 1976. After a career as a mathematics teacher, a French teacher, and a finance executive, he has devoted his passion for numbers, teaching and research into mastering blackjack. In 1997 Schlesinger published the first edition of his book Blackjack Attack: Playing the Pros’ Way, which saw a second and third edition in 2000 and 2008 respectively and has grown to almost twice the length of the original book. He is best known for creating the ‘Illustrious 18’ most efficient card counting indices, as well as systems to optimally compare games under various scenarios.
