Losing Players File Lawsuit

In Florida, USA, two blackjack players are using the legally tenuous status of Seminole Hard Rock Casino blackjack to file a lawsuit after losing big. Since they cannot file a case directly against the Seminole tribe, a sovereign nation, they are instead targeting various companies connected to the Hard Rock Casino blackjack tables.

Darryl Purpose

Today we've added a new page to our professional blackjack players section, on blackjack pro Darryl Purpose. Darryl Purpose is a songwriter, musician and performer, as well as an anti-war activist, but back in the 80s he was a member of Ken Uston's blackjack team and the fastest counter in Vegas and Atlantic City.

Interblock USA presents Organic Card Blackjack

In April Interblock USA will be presenting a sleek electro-mechanical card system at the 2010 National Indian Gaming Association exhibition. Organic Card Blackjack is a system that allows players to play blackjack through electronic terminals while being dealt real cards.

Arrested Card Counters Sue Casino

Two card counters who were arrested in Las Vegas last week for refusing to show their ID are now suing the casino that detained them for assault, battery, and false imprisonment.

Card Counting Court Case Not Quite Over

The case of self-taught card counter Thomas Donovan against the Grand Victoria Casino in the state of Indiana, America, in which Donovan successfully sued the casino for banning him from the blackjack tables for counting cards is not quite over. The Grand Victoria pins hopes of overturning the case on a State Supreme Court hearing.
